Values – a word that has not been synonymous with big banking since, well…never.

The behemoth institutions that have been the cause of the world’s financial meltdown have been dodging bullets from Congress, but now there’s a new straightforward and effective way to fight back without having to rely on Capitol Hill.

Move Your Money, an initiative that is literally asking you to – move your money to a smaller community bank – has been getting a lot of attention lately, and for good reason given the fact that big corporate banks such as JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo all received assistance from the federal government and have done little to nothing to help people like you and me during this “Great Recession.”

The way it works is simple: just move your money to a local community bank and/or credit union that actually values you as a customer. Some of these smaller and local establishments are providing the same services as the big guys if not more…some of them will even count your coins for free.

So, if you’re unhappy about bailouts, lost your job, seen your friends lose their jobs, lost your house, seen your friends lose their house, or are just unhappy with the power ‘Too Big To Fail’ banks have had over the world economy then – move your money.
